Q: How do I send a message using FreeTxt?
A: to send free message you should be registered first. To register please see the registration FAQ. Registration is FREE. Once registered you can send free messages by texting FREE <recipients mobile number> <message> to 2625. For Example: FREE 09171234567 Hi Ian! Try this one! It’s FREE! and send it to 2625.

You can also send free text messages using your virtual address book. Text FREE <nickname> <message> to 2625. For example: FREE IAN Hi Ian! Try this one! It’s FREE! To 2625. Please see Buddy FAQ how to add nickname to your virtual address book.

Only 110 characters are allowable for the message to be sent. The recipient will receive a notification to read your message.


Note: For Globe and Touch Mobile subscribers you can send free text messages even if you have a zero balance on your account. For SMART and Talk and Text subscribers you should have one (1) peso maintaining balance to send free text messages.

Q: How much am I being charge for sending a message?
A: Sending message using FreeTxt is totally FREE! There are no charges incurred on sending text messages.

Q: Can I send free text messages to other networks?
A: No. You can only send to Globe to Globe numbers or SMART to SMART numbers

Q: Why is it I can only send 3 text messages?
A: This is our anti-spam usage policy. To avoid spam texting we only allow 3 free text messages to a mobile number. Please wait until the recipient read your text messages. Once the recipient read your text message, you can send free text again.

Q: Why is it I can only send 30 text messages to different mobile numbers?
A: This is our anti-spam usage policy. To avoid spam texting we only allow a total of 30 free text messages to different mobile numbers a day. Please wait until the recipient/s read your text messages. Once the recipient/s read your text message, you can send free text again.
